John Mayer and social media influencer Kat Stickler are seeing each other – but it\u2019s nothing too serious just yet.<\/p>\n

According to an exclusive source from Us Weekly, the 47-year-old musician and 30-year-old content creator began dating recently after connecting online.<\/p>\n
\u201cJohn sought her out and pursued her,\u201d the insider revealed. \u201cKat just broke up with someone she had been dating for a few months and thought it would be fun to date again, and she was interested in John.\u201d<\/p>\n
The source added that while the pair\u2019s relationship is still in the early stages, they have been out together several times. \u201cHe has been actively pursuing her, inviting her places, and texting her often,\u201d they said. \u201cShe is interested and seeing where it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Stickler reportedly isn\u2019t looking for anything too deep at the moment. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t think this will be a serious relationship,\u201d the insider explained, \u201cbut she\u2019s having fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pair were first spotted publicly on October 12, dining together at Fly Fish in New York City, as seen in a photo published by celebrity gossip platform DeuxMoi.<\/p>\n
Their budding romance follows Kat\u2019s recent breakup with Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick in October 2024. Tartick announced the split in an emotional Instagram Story, writing, \u201cIt\u2019s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life that works out and other times, it doesn\u2019t. This time it didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cKat has brought me so much happiness and light, she brought out parts of me I never knew existed. I will forever be grateful for her and, of course, [her daughter] sweet MK. This chapter closes amicably, and another opens.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kat, who shares daughter MK with her ex-husband Mike Stickler, later addressed the breakup on her own platform, calling it \u201cnot love wasted.\u201d Months later, Tartick reflected on the split during an episode of his Trading Secrets podcast, saying it was \u201cso abrupt\u201d and \u201cso unexpected.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThen what I was hearing – these things I\u2019m hearing publicly about speculation of what happened – I\u2019m just sitting in my house pulling my hair out,\u201d Tartick said. \u201cThat was a really tough month. A really, really, really hard month.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for Mayer, the Grammy-winning artist has a well-documented romantic history. Over the years, he\u2019s been linked to high-profile stars including Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry. Although he has never been married, Mayer revealed in 2024 that marriage is definitely something he wants in the future.<\/p>\n
